The Schoeps CMH is a wired handheld or soloist’s microphone with specialised immunity to plosive noises. Thanks to a well-balanced frequency response the CMH will be ideally suited for speech applications. The directionality and low frequency roll off aids in reducing the risk of feedback. Using the microphone at short distances increases the proportion of direct sound and balances the in-built low frequency roll off with proximity. The popping effect caused by vocal plosives is substantially reduced by the built-in pop filter and is even further reduced by the low frequency roll off of the microphone.
